FRAN 101 Novice French Culture and Communication I
FRAN 101 uses a communicative approach to integrate cultural products, practices, and perspectives into developing the four skills of communication in French (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), with a focus on real-time interpersonal oral production of simple present tense phrases and sentence structures in a variety of familiar contexts. This course roughly targets the ACTFL Novice-High rating. Teaching methodologies may include task-based, project-based, and other experiential learning assignments. Taught in French.
